During checkout a customer is asked to confirm that they agree to the terms and conditions. Somehow -over the years- the text does not show up anymore. It has been over 7 years since I set this site up, today we got the first request to show the text. I did set up a separate page with conditions, but where on earth do I find the link that is in the checkout page is it maybe in includes, in language or ????

Sorry for such a simple question but I am stuck

Hi Anne

This may help

In May 2018 the updater v6.9.2 introduced an inline terms and conditions popup.
https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=110012

An Inline Terms and Conditions page can be created by simply creating a Content Region with the region name of "termsandconditions". As all the other cart features have moved to inline popups this now gives the terms and conditions the same look and feel as the rest of the site.

If you need to make your customers agree to your terms and conditions on checkout, set $termsandconditions=TRUE;
You will also need to create a page with your terms and conditions called termsandconditions.php ... which will be shown in a 420 x 380 popup.
