Question about "manufacturerlink" in PHP v7.2.3

ITZAP Ecommerce Template Guru Australia 1018 Posts	Posted - 06/14/2020 : 19:27:12 In the release notes for PHP v7.2.3 there is a note that says: quote: There is a new element available for the detail page layout which is "manufacturerlink". This is the same as the "manufacturer" element but it is linked to the manufacturer page on your site. Upon testing that, I found that clicking the Manufacturer Name link on the product detail page opens: > the ".../manufacturer/" page listing all manufacturers; > not the target ".../manufacturer/Manufacturer-Name" page. Yes I am using the SEO friendly URL's configured exactly as described here. Triple checked and working fine, except for this "manufacturerlink" feature. Does anybody else have this working? Or is there a small bug here Vince ? Regards, Gary

ITZAP Ecommerce Template Guru Australia 1018 Posts	Posted - 12/14/2021 : 18:32:14 Hi Vince, In PHP v7.3.8 stable, there seems to be a glitch with the element "manufacturerlink". If you set $detailpagelayout="productname, dateadded, sku, manufacturerlink, description"; you do not get any manufacturer detail at all. If you set $detailpagelayout="productname, dateadded, sku, manufacturer, manufacturerlink, description"; then you do get manufacturer detail, but duplicated, including the link to the relevant manufacturer page.
