We are getting users that are getting "Sorry, there seemed to be an error ! If you need any help with your purchase, then please be sure to contact us." on the thanks.asp. 100% of the time the user has a grand total of negative -0.00 not the normal 0.00. All customers are using gift certificates but not all of them get the error.


This order received the error
Order Total: $349.46
Shipping and Handling: $0.00
Discounts: $381.61
State Tax: $32.15
Grand Total: $-0.00

This order was fine.
Order Total: $125.20
Discounts: $136.72
State Tax: $11.52
Grand Total: $0.00

Any idea why this is happening and how can I trap the error to see what is causing this?

The first thing I would try is, as always, run the updater fully. This will make sure that you have a good set of scripts and it's a good starting point. Then if the problem persists please send the FTP login to me by clicking on my email and I'll take a look.
