I found my old ECT website files that I though were lost. Can I upload them to my new ECT wordpress website without a problem?

If you have the new Wordpress version then what you should do is upload everything except the vsadmin/db_conn_open.php file. The one distributed with the Wordpress template will use the Wordpress database connection by default but if your store is already set up you would want to continue using the connection you have.
That aside, just upload the files for the template and then choose one of the Child Themes in the Wordpress -> Appearance -> Themes section. Then start at Number 4. here...
