Looking for a heavy duty mod that will give reports and/or visualize the sales data.
Wanting to know things like:
Sales trends by state, season, time of day, day of week etc
Top selling items
Refund ratio, which items are highest return rate
Repeat customer trends
Time from order placement to order shipped etc.

These are just some off the top of my head.
We've have about 11,000 sales and I want to start analyzing the trends in the orders table to take things to the next level.

Hi xxcfdrr, that's quite a list.
I wanted to be sure that you are aware of the reporting that's alreay built in, as it does cover some of what your asking about.
In your admin, on the menu - Order Admin > order stats.

Another helpful tip might be to download orders via the built in tool, and load into excel.

You can also glean quite a bit of info using Google Analytics, including some of the things you are asking for.

Thanks Dave, I will explore the Google Analytics idea.

I'm looking for someone that can develop a nice interface so we can take advantage of the years of sales data we have built. Someone from Pakistan took at stab at it using MS PowerBi and it sucks.
