Hello,

I have bought multiple templates over the years for various site, each with their own DB, and was trying to see if there was a way to do multisite but with a single DB like what another ecomm offers. I have found one posting about this back from 2018 but do not really see any documentation on the setup and things to consider. Any one has input and gotchas about setting up a single DB for multiple sites, all on the same server?

Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Hi Awesome
If you want to have multiple sites with the same products / categories then that isn't a problem at all. But do you mean multiple sites with different product catalogs? If that's the case, what is it you are trying to achieve by having them on the same database when setting up a separate database is so easy?

One DB to maintain like a centralized system vs going through each panel. Dont get me wrong, I luv the package, just wish sometimes I did not have to go to each to update products. Hope that makes sense.

Is it maybe just the Override Store URL parameter you need then?
https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/phphelp/ecommplus/parameters.asp#storeurl
This will allow different URL's for your different stores while all use the same DB. All sites would show the same products however.
