Integrating SquareUp Payments

ewcarne Starting Member 19 Posts Pre-sales questions only (More Details...)	Posted - 09/29/2020 : 10:41:02 I am having trouble with SquareUp payments. The online help manual shows that Application ID , Access Token . Transaction Type are required. The payments screen only allows Data 1. I have used the Application ID for Data 1, BUT my customers cannot complete a transaction. So the software and the help file do not match up. What of I really need?

Posted - 10/07/2020 : 11:13:40 I have upgraded to the newest version as you suggested, and the squareup variables ar enow thefe - thank you. But now I have a new problem, I am set to display 4 items per page in the settings, but the store formats as if displaying 6 items (3 items across) his is a big problem as the content doesn't fit this layout, and so the product description spills over the adjacent product. website is https://swtore.soundwellness.com

tgorski Ecommerce Template Expert USA 918 Posts	Posted - 01/26/2021 : 12:34:13 I have a client who wants to switch to accepting Square Payments online, but I can't find setup instructions on ECT or Squareup.com. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to get the Application ID and Access Token needed for ect integration? Thanks! Tim Gorski

I got through BOTH the sandbox testing and testing an online payment, but I get an OOPS page following the "successful transaction" (by verifying the payment in the cart), suggesting a customppreturn.php problem? If so, can you get detailed error messages enabled so we know what the actual error is? If you don't know how to enable detailed error messages just ask your host.
