Hi,

Is there a way to disable customer discounts on certain products or categories? Many of our customers are set to different discount percentages depending on their sales history (we do not use wholesale pricing). We have a new product range that we don't want to sell at the higher discount rate. Is there a way to prevent the customer discount being applied to these products?

$nowholesalediscounts - doesn't seem to affect the customer discount percentage.

Hi Anne
You can set a product to "discount exempt" if that helps? To do that, when editing a product on the product admin page you should see this under "Exemptions".

I have tried this but it only seems to exempts the product discount not the customer discount.

Ok, I missed that but in that case then, I don't think there is a way to do this. The customer discount is applied across the whole site and not on a per-product basis.

Hi,

This presents a problem for us too as some customers have percentage discounts in their login profile. Now if we want to run a special on items, say 50% off, then that customer gets their percentage discount off the already discounted item. It looks like there is no way to block the double percent discount.

Perhaps there should be a way to block login customers from getting double discounts. i.e. flag product as "Customer Discount Exempt"

Any thoughts for this?
