Is it possible to import/migrate a Magento site's database into an Ecommerce Template database or would it have to be rebuilt from scratch in the Ecommerce Template site?

There isn't an automatic tool to do this but if you can get a copy of the products database in CSV format then we could look at how to import that into the ECT database.
