Is it possible for the tick box "Allow Promotional Emails" to be ticked be default at checkout, and is this allowed to be auto ticked at checkout?

Hi Jason,

I think you’ll find that is against GDPR rules.

It is possible to have a dropdown though which forces the customer to select yes or no.

Add this to includes:

$mailinglistdropdown=TRUE;
for a dropdown

Or

$mailinglistradios=TRUE;
if you prefer radios

That’s probably the better option.
