Following on from [url="https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=113369"][blue]this topic here[/blue][/url] discussing Facebook Images, currently for this line of PHP code to work:
[font=Courier New][red][size=3]<?php print $metaogimage; ?>[/size=3][/red][/font=Courier New]
you must have "[red]socialmedia[/red]" in the [purple]$detailpagelayout[/purple] parameter, like this [maroon]includes.php[/maroon] entry:
[font=Courier New][purple]$detailpagelayout[/purple]="productname, navigation, productimage, dateadded, sku, reviewstarslarge, socialmedia, description, manufacturerlink, options, listprice, discounts, price, quantitypricing, quantity, addtocart, checkoutbutton, [red]socialmedia[/red], reviews, previousnext";[/font=Courier New]
The suggestion is that the code for [red]$metaogimage[/red] be altered so that it works regardless whether the "[red]socialmedia[/red]" element is included in [purple]$detailpagelayout[/purple] or not.
Even if your business does not have any Social Media pages, it is still an advantage to include og open graph meta code in your website pages. That way, if somebody else Shares any of your webpages to Facebook or Twitter, then that post will display your feature image and content in the best, most attractive, attention grabbing manner.
