Thanks for adding the start and expiration dates for discounts, but would love to have some additional improvements to make discounts so much more useful...

1. Show discounted price by product rather than lumped together in one discount line on cart, and list loyalty rewards discounts separately in the checkout summary review.
2. Would be great if discounts applied to individual products could show on the product and detail pages as Price / Sale Price (formatted similar to List Price and Price)
3. Differentiate so discounts can be applied to the product price or to the order subtotal (after the individual product discounts) so multiple discounts don't compound -
i.e., now if I offer 50% off certain products, then run a special for 20% off an entire order, that results in the customer getting a total of 70% off the 50% discounted products, $10 nets to $3 (-50+20) vs. $4 (-50-20)
rather than taking the additional 20% off the net sale price of those products.
4. List the names and amounts of applied discounts in the confirmation emails.

I hope others would be interested in similar changes.

One more suggestion...

5. Ability to assign discounts to add'l categories other than the main category the product is listed under to be able to limit discounts to more a more targeted group of products.
