When creating a list in eCommerce Templates mailing list admin in the Mailchimp Integration, we get this error:

The following error occurred: The resource submitted could not be validated. For field-specific details, see the 'errors' array.

We've double checked our API key and and it is correct.

I've added Mailchimp's code to /vsadmin/adminmailinglist.asp in the head tag. That code is:

<script id="mcjs">!function(c,h,i,m,p){m=c.createElement(h),p=c.getElementsByTagName(h)[0],m.async=1,m.src=i,p.parentNode.insertBefore(m,p)}(document,"script","https://chimpstatic.com/mcjs-connected/js/users/751d1b5bb5b6a2848c057655d/855b32ab1385dea290f7fce69.js");</script>

Now when submitted it returns:

"The following error occurred: User does not have access to the requested operation"

Hi, you wouldn't want to add any code there, so you should remove that.
So the issue is understood, you have successfully connected to mailchimp, and you get an error when creating a list?

If you have, then you will see your info at the top of the page there when you click "Mailchimp Intergration"

Thanks,
David

Mailchimp asked us to put that code on the page to confirm ownership. I've now removed their code and we're back to the error message in the original post.

Hi, you confirm ownership by getting an API key from them and registering it in the admin.
If you have connected your mailchimp account to your cart, when you go to mailing list > Mailchimp integration at the top of the page, you will see your info for the following

API Key
Account ID
Login ID
Account Name
Email
Account Name
Contact Information

These will all be populated if you have a good connection to mailchimp.

Please confirm that.

Thanks,
David

To pick up on this Mailchimp thread...

I am new to Mailchimp and created a popup subscribe form to popup 5 seconds when visiting our site. Mailchimp says that the script that I included on our site connects successfully but no popup occurs.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brad

Here is the script added before /head.

<script id="mcjs">!function(c,h,i,m,p){m=c.createElement(h),p=c.getElementsByTagName(h)[0],m.async=1,m.src=i,p.parentNode.insertBefore(m,p)}(document,"script","https://chimpstatic.com/mcjs-connected/js/users/95087a587c13d012246d930b9/4e68980f3b646ef9fa20f039c.js");</script>

Never mind. It is working. I tried a different browser with incognito view and it worked. Sorry for the inconvenience!
