Having issues searching from advance search and top search bar.

I get the following message:

500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

Not sure but this may have started after a recent update.

The best thing is to get the real error rather than the generic "500" error.
The fastest way is the server logs if you have access to those.
You may need to ask your host to help get that.

Without that info, it's just guessing.

Not completely sure but I think I have the server log information in regards to the error listed below. I apologize for my limited knowledge on the subject.

ADODB.Recordset error '800a0cc1'

Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.

/vsadmin/inc/incproductbody.asp, line 148

Hi, I looked at the site in your profile and I did see the error.
It may be best to start by re-applying the updater.
Perhaps all of the files were not copied over.
Once you go through that, check to see if the problem still exists.

Who would I contact if I had the Updater installed by Ecommerce Templates? Can I still access the updater and try it myself?

Hi, if it was installed by ECT, then it's fairly safe it was done correctly.
I'll send a message over to Vince and see if he can take a look at this.

Sorry about the problems there but it's fixed now on your site and I'll get the fix into the updater so you won't get this problem again.
