Hi,

Could we change the custom fields in admin from input fields to textarea and also have css control over their size and increase the character limit?

This way they would wrap when adding a block of code and you could view/edit that code.

For example, I use custom field 2 to add code for product videos on the proddetail page, including all structured markup for seo but this is what I can see:

Thanks,

Steve

I too have had this struggle. It may be nice to have the editor available in those fields too.
Thanks,
David

I think it might be better to keep it purely as a textarea and not with the editor. I find Froala changes or removes code it thinks is wrong. With my structured data for video for example, Froala will remove parts of it.

Ok, so maybe a setting on where the editor is used for each section.
A list of tick boxes on the admin main settings page.
If an editor is installed - there could be a row of tick boxes enable where we turn it on or off for each place where it might exist.
I have a few places I do not like the editor as well...

That sounds like an excellent idea
