If you're using the alternative ID's for those options you would set the wholesale prices on the hidden products

Yes thank I am aware of that and realize now I may have caused some confusion.

In the message I did say: "Options /Alternates" when I meant "Options / Values" as is shown in the screenshots.

I would like to know how to make the Wholesale Price box visible as I described, as clearly they are missing in version 7.2.5,

Have you added the parameter $wholesaleoptionpricediff=TRUE; to your vsadmin/includes.php file?
