Can I use an anchor on the top of a page description and then have links back to the top later in the text?

I got the link to the page working, just have a link pointing back to the page
Can I have one from the top of the page jumping to link further down the page?

Jeff, here is a sample webpage which should help answer your question ... Click: SpamExperts Incoming Email Administration Panel, All you need to know >>The code near top of the page description titled " Jump to a topic on this page" <p><strong>Jump to a topic on this page</strong></p> <ol> <li><a href="#log-search" rel="nofollow" title="Jump to this topic">Log Search</a></li> <li><a href="#spam-quarantine" rel="nofollow" title="Jump to this topic">Spam Quarantine</a></li> <li><a href="#release-train" rel="nofollow" title="Jump to this topic">Release and Train</a></li> <li><a href="#domain-statistics" rel="nofollow" title="Jump to this topic">Domain Statistics</a></li> <li><a href="#periodic-report" rel="nofollow" title="Jump to this topic">Periodic Domain Report</a></li> <li><a href="#protection-report" rel="nofollow" title="Jump to this topic">Protection Report Emails</a></li> <li><a href="#report-spam" rel="nofollow" title="Jump to this topic">Report Spam Add-in Toolbar for popular Email Software</a></li> </ol> And further down the page at each particular anchor bookmark position: <h3><a name="log-search"></a>Log Search</h3>
<h4><a name="spam-quarantine"></a>Spam Quarantine</h4>
<h5><a name="release-train"></a>Release and Train</h5>
<h6><a name="domain-statistics"></a>Domain Statistics</h6> etc, etc. You make up a suitable name for each of those #anchor-bookmarks. Gary

Hi, this <a name=" #Ring-Size"></a> What ring size do I need for my needles?</h4> should be this <a name="Ring-Size"></a> What ring size do I need for my needles?</h4> Get rid of the hashtag (or pound sign depending on your age) David

Here is what I have
<li><a href="Ring-Size" rel="nofollow" title="Jump to this topic">What ring size do I need for my needles?</a></li> ... ... <a name="Ring-Size"></a> What ring size do I need for my needles?</h4>
It is still going to a page that does not exist: https://debrasgarden.myectstore.com/Ring-Size

You need to examine the code samples more carefully to identify where you require the # Gary

The page is: https://debrasgarden.myectstore.com/FAQ
I would like to have links from the FAQ upper section to the lower
Can you see how the page is with view source?

This should be <li><a href="#Ring-Size" rel="nofollow" title="Jump to this topic">What ring size do I need for my needles?</a></li>
The pound sign designates that the link is a reference to the existing page. the rel="nofollow" is unnecessary.
And the target should be <h4 id="Ring-Size">What ring size do I need for my needles?</h4>
This <a name="Ring-Size"></a> is no longer semantically correct in HTML. Targets should be designated using the "id" tag.
On a side note, I looked at your home page. You REALLY need to resize/optimize the category images, and any other images you have that are in excess of 2,000 pixel wide. They are really going to slow down you pages. You can use tinypng.com to optimize the images, but you will need to resize them first.

Currently I have: <li><a href="#Ring-Size" title="Jump to this topic">What ring size do I need for my needles?</a></li> ... ... <h4 id="Ring-Size">What ring size do I need for my needles?</h4>
and the link still takes me to: https://debrasgarden.myectstore.com/#Ring-Size
Re optimizing the images, thank you, will do.

This may have to do with your extensionless URLs and the fact you have this <base href="https://debrasgarden.myectstore.com/" /> in the <head>. You might have to make it <li><a href="https://debrasgarden.myectstore.com/FAQ#Ring-Size">What ring size do I need for my needles?</a></li>
And you are welcome about the images.
