When I open the Main Settings page in Admin and change some setting and click on Save it seems that this can effect the Mail Settings. Specially the password for the mail.

I can not say for sure as the password is only shown with **, but after changing some main settings (not e-mail settings !) no more mails where send from our website. Today I entered the password again and after this it all worked again.

Suggestion: Move e-mail account settings to their own admin page. Or have a 'show option' to see the password. I would prefer logical groups of settings having their own page.

Hi Jaap
Is it possible that your browser is automatically filling in the password from your "saved passwords" list? Normally the password for the email box will be blank and will not be reset unless you enter something.

Hi Vince,

Many thanks. That must be the case as everytime when I open the Main Settings the ** are shown.

Greetings,

Jaap
