I added items to the cart prior to logging-in. Then when I logged-in, the cart was empty.

I tried in our test site here and that doesn't seem to happen, and shouldn't happen as the cart contents should be preserved when you log in. Could you send the site FTP login to my email (vince AT ecommercetemplates DOT com) and I'll investigate.
