You don't see those "New Season Specials" as those products are the ones marked as "Recommended" in the admin products page. To mark products as recommended just go to the admin products page, list the products and then on the left you should see the menu, "Quick Entry..." and if you choose "Recommended" from the list you can set the recommended flag for the products you wish.
