The PayPal Checkout integration has been overhauled with improvements such as pre-populating the PayPal checkout form with the customer details.

The Stripe payment processor has been upgraded to show the cart items in the Stripe.com payment page.

There have been several improvements with the Pay360 payment process and it is recommended to update to this version (or v7.3.6 which also has these changes.) Among the updates are that a problem has been fixed where it was not possible to change shipping type on the final checkout page.

The Global Payments (Realex Payments) payment processor is now supported.

The Square payment processor has been updated to support Strong Customer Authentication. Please note, that to enable this you have to set your Location ID. More details are given here...

Unfortunately, some successful websites do come under what are called Denial of Service or DOS attacks where the attacker tries to use up the server resources, leaving nothing for your website visitors or causing server errors. The inbuilt IP blocking can protect against these kinds of attacks, but for v7.4.3 this has been moved higher up the chain to the incfunctions.asp/php file which means that page elements such as minicarts or meta tags are not generated before the attacker is kicked off the site. One final optimization for this is to set this parameter to your customer service email...

...so that the customer service email does not have to be extracted from the database.

The admin main settings page has had a complete overhaul and some changes have been made to the admin area in general to brighten up the display.

If a customer uses a plural to search for products, the singular form of the word will also return results if possible.

The review layout has been improved with more CSS classes and removal of old markup styles.

Select All is now possible for Related Items.

You can now search by the "Search Words" assigned to a product in the admin products page.

Where a country's zip / postal codes have a letter, this will be in upper case and so codes that are entered in lower case are now forced to upper case.

If a shipping discount was applied this would not previously be applied to Authorize.net transactions which would still show a positive shipping cost and this has now been rectified. The order total was correct previously and this only affected the amount displayed as "shipping".

If an explicitid / $explicitid is set then that is automatically used for the generation of Meta Tags / Title / Description.

There have been several important bug fixes for the WordPress version.
