Hi Stan At present with the WordPress version, no . . . but this is just because it was always assumed that using the product name was an advantage. But I've made a change now so that if you set the following in your vsadmin/includes.php file... $GLOBALS['usepnamefordetaillinks']=FALSE; ...then the product ID will be used with the extensionless URL's and the "Legacy .php extension" options. The product name will still be used with the SEO URL option as there isn't a way to use anything other than the product name with SEO URL's.
If that sounds good to you though you do need to get a new copy of the updater and apply that fully. https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/updaters.asp
