Under Product Attributes, when you "(M)odify Attributes for Group" it would be handy to have the option to Disable a particular Attribute, same as you can do in Categories Administration.

e.g. Perhaps you have stopped selling Products in stock from one particular Manufacturer. But then, you might order more sometime down the track.

The Administrator would be able to re-enable that Product Attribute whenever desired.
