Hi guys. Still trying to determine the viability of an e-commerce site with 30,000+ unique items.

Is there any shipping integration to print labels? i.e., we are currently using Shopify, www.vivandergerman.com and it sucks. But, it allows us to print a USPS or UPS label directly from the order page.

Also, how would one set up truck freight? We are an auto salvage yard and ship everything from engines, to window switches.

I have an existing ECT cart for my auto repair shop and it works well for the few hundred items listed, but this one will be a completely different animal with not only the volume of items, but the volume of orders also ( I hope....)

Thanks.
Brett

Hi Brett
A lot of high-volume shippers seem to use ShipStation for which there is an integration as standard. Would that be a solution for you?

Hi Vince.
Yes, that would be a possibility. After reading your message, I see Ship Station listed in the shipping methods, I'll get it set up on the existing low volume site and see how it goes.

Any thoughts on truck freight? I'm positive there will be no way to create labels, but I can deal with that. Bigger question, how do I set items to show customer's that it will be truck freight, and force them to enter a commercial address?

Thanks.
Brett

From Florida here, for freight shipments, we use R & L carriers.
It super easy to create a shipment on their website and schedule a pickup.
