I have an issue.

All of a sudden my password does not work and allow me to enter the admin side.

I scoured the forums and downloaded the php file that resets the password.

Entered the info and it loaded saying "you will now be transferred...."

Then it goes back to the login box.

NOTE: I had this happen with my other site yesterday and had to reset it as well but now it's working no problem. This one is still having issues

This issue has often turned out to be because of caching issues. The reason this happens is because what you see is the cached "please log in" page rather than the new "actually logged in" page. Could you ask your host if they have implemented any new cache system on the site? Or anything else new for that matter.

After 2 days of non-communication from my hosting provider, it all of a sudden is working.

They stated "We need to check cloud flare settings to resolve the issue".

Still haven't contacted me to say that it's working, but I can get on now to make changes. Of course I tread softly until I get the official "OK"

— So possibly a updated cloud flare could have done this?

That's possible too. Maybe they just gave the server a kick under the table though. But as long as everything is sorted and stays sorted!
