Hello,
After I updated to v7.5.2 PHP "Advanced Release" when I try to add a item to the shopping cart nothing happens. The popup cart will not display and nothing goes into the cart.

Hi Paul,
Can you force a page refresh CTRL+F5 and try again please?

It's quite likely your PC has cached the old ectcart.js file

Hi Paul
Are you sure you have the ectcart.js and ectcart.css files included in the page at all then? More details here...

If that doesn't help can you let us know the URL of the page?

Vince

Hi Vince,
This is what it has <script src="/js/ectcart.js"></script>

Should I replace it with this? <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/ectcart.js"></script>

Hi Vince,
I added the <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/ectcart.js"></script> to all pages and when I try to add a item to the shopping cart nothing happens.

I still have this <script src="/js/ectcart.js"></script> on all the pages in this order

<script type="text/javascript" src="/js/ectcart.js"></script>

<script src="/js/ectcart.js"></script>

The Admin shows it's up to date (There are no new versions available.

Hi Paul
You also need to remove one of these two entries you have

<script type="text/javascript" src="/js/ectcart.js"></script>
<script src="/js/ectcart.js"></script>

Hello Phil,
I cleared the browser cache again this morning and now it's working. Thank you Phil for reminding me. I don't know why it didn't work yesterday when I cleared it?

As you can see in a previous post from Vince, I asked if I should remove this script (<script src="/js/ectcart.js"></script>) and he suggested it was fine. Unless I'm reading it wrong?

Hi Paul
This is what I was answering...

Should I replace it with this? <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/ectcart.js"></script>
You only need (and should only have) one reference to the ectcart.js script, but either of those formats is fine.

Hi Vince.
I deleted the <script src="/js/ectcart.js"></script> and all is fine. Thank you and everyone for all your help.
