I'm currently on 7.5.5 which works great but is causing one small issue with the Servelink Image Uploader that we use. The easy fix is to step back to 7.4.11. Is it as easy to do as just applying that 7.4.11 update or will it cause other issues?

Hi DavidX
I *think* that it should be fine if you just copy the v7.4.11 scripts. (You don't need to run the v7.4 updatestore.asp.) If you have any problems you could just copy the v7.5 scripts from the v7.5 updater. But I would try to find a way to stay on v7.5 to tell the truth if I were you.

I'd like to just stay on 7.5. Any idea when that will become the Stability Release?

Hi David, I'm using v7.5.4 with servelinks image upload tool just fine.
I haven't tried 7.5.5, but I don't think there are any changes between 7.5.4 and 7.5.5 that should impact the image upload tool.
Have to asked Servelink about this?

Thanks,
David

The Image Uploader works great. The issue I'm having is adding extra fields in adminprods.asp. The extra fields work as advertised but, after applying the Image Uploader, they disappear. Servelink said it hasn't really been tested with 7.5 and that I would have to wait until it had a stable release or step the version back. I should add that they offered to brew up some sort of workaround but I declined since I figured they would have to do it again after any updates. It's not a super pressing issue but it is something I'd like to resolve soonish so, if 7.5 is going to get a stability release in the semi-near future, it'll be easy enough to wait.

Hi David, I understand.
I don't have that issue and I expect it's down to changes in the code where it may be causing you to place the code changes in the wrong place, causing issues with the additional custom fields. Or perhaps you are just using the files provided by Servelink, which I opt to manually enter the lines of code in the ect file.

I do recall having to manually locate the correct locations in the code for some of the entries, due to native ect code changes.
