is there a way to add a Quantity boxes +/- to the Shopping Cart page. (not the Product Details page)

The should be showing next to each item in the cart. Are you not seeing them?

Hi, no, there is only the option to type a numerical value in the field there.

So there is one for the Product Details $quantityupdown=2 but not for the car page?

Right, that's correct.
I suppose the reasoning is that customers select the quantity when adding to cart and it less likely they will need to adjust the quantity on the cart page when they have already selected it before adding to cart.
There is the facility there just in case, but adding the +/- there would take up precious real estate on the cart page when it's unlikely to be needed.

I expect it could be custom coded if you want to try a post in the developers forum.

I think this will be a good ideal since if a customer makes a mistake and put four and they only need 2 they can take it off

Yes, but there is a box there that they can use to change it, so it can still be done with no problems.
