 PayPal payments showing a capture

Hi, when orders are made, the payments in PayPal are showing as captured and not completed.

The cart completes the order and allows the customer to download the digital items.

How, can I get the payment to be processed and completed as before?

In the payment providers admin page have you changed from Authorize Capture to Authorize Only?

Thanks for your reply. No, I didn't. The transaction type is "authorization"

The only two options are authorization and sale.

Things were working in the old way of using PayPal with the checkout.

After the change and following the setup configuration, this is when the issue started.

What is the difference between "sale and authorization" in the setup of the payment gateway?

One way will authorize only and you need to capture each payment in the admin, and the other will auto capture.
Try changing the setting and wait for some orders to see if that puts it the way you want.

You need to set it to'sale'
