With PayPal Checkout (pay option 27), the order confirmation email will show a subtotal of $0.00, free shipping, and a grand total of $0.00.

It appears the payment goes through just fine, and I get paid. It also appears that resending the order confirmation email will send the correct data, but the initial email from the time of ordering is completely broken right now.

I'm on an early version of the 7.5.7 release from on or around March 1st.

I just was using 7.5.5 and I had the same problem. Confirmation email is showing subtotal of $0 and grand total $0. So I just downloaded and installed version 7.5.7 and I am still showing the same issue.

I also have lost the status of the CVV and AVS on my admin page. They use to say Y or N... now its blank

I has no problems using PayPal Standards, but switched to PayPal Checkout as I was getting emails from PayPal saying PayPal Standard is an older outdated version of PayPal... so I switched to PayPal Checkout and not the emails from PayPasl have stopped, but I have the AVS CVV issue and my order confirmations subtotal and total $0 Orders go thru just fine otherwise.

I'm sorry this got overlooked Sparksm but I've fixed the problem with the sub total and have contacted PayPal about how to get the AVS and CVV. I'll get an update out once I hear back from PayPal.

Just updated to 7.5.8, and thanks for adding fixes to this option in the release.

Still in regard to the PayPal Checkout (pay option 27), does the Venmo funding source option work? When I select it to Display Venmo (if available), and update then it reverts back to the Hide Venmo option. I've yet to see it pop up on my phone, so I'm guessing it doesn't ever enable it; unless there's something I'm missing with the PayPal side of things that I need to do for it to show up.

I see what the problem is and I've added the fix to the incpayprov.asp file in the updater. But the VENMO option would be set (even if it wasn't selected when you returned to the page.) So maybe VENMO just isn't available as it has to be a US buyer with a VENMO account on mobile and US seller, no?

Thanks for the fix. I didn't know if it was a visual bug or what was going on.

I still can't get the functionality to work.

- I'm a US based seller
- I have a personal Venmo account
- I have Venmo installed on my phone
- I'm in the US

I can't seem to get the button to display. Maybe there's some sort of association with my personal Venmo account to the seller PayPal account that's preventing it from showing up but I don't think there is.

Quick update to my last post. Confirmed through 1 friend and 1 family member, who are also in the US, who use Venmo, and have Venmo installed on their phone, that the option does not appear for them either when using their phone on my site and using the PayPal Checkout with Venmo enabled in the payment admin area.

I had a check and in theory, the cart doesn't have to do anything to display VENMO and it should appear automatically where it is eligible. Could you check that you have enabled mobile web purchases in the VENMO app, and if so, could you possibly raise this with PayPal? Copy me on any correspondence with them.

I wonder if they removed that functionality all together. I looked at the screenshots of the "enabled mobile web purchases" option in some of the online help articles and the images are from a couple years ago and the current version of the app does not have that option.

There is a "connected businesses" tab, which might be the new version of it but it seems to be more for physical store so I'll need to do a little bit of research on this. It's not much of an issue but from time to time I do get customers asking to pay with Venmo.
