Hi,

I use weight-based shipping. I want to set different postal zones within USA states but can't seem to do it. I am able to set it for Canada but not USA. Specifically, want to set different weighted shipping tiers for certain US states. Attached are screen shots of my setting for USA, please let me know might be wrong.

Thanks
Haru

Hi, you are on the wrong page there.
In your admin, go to Shipping Admin > Postal Zones
https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/ecommplus/help.asp#pzone

Give that a try and post up if you are still having trouble.

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply. What I mean is, I'd like to be able to split postal for USA like I have below (image) for Canada. Right now, I am unable to for USA. But here's what I have done with Canada - split Postal into 3 zones.

And this is already enabled for Postal Zone:

"Your admin settings are set to split your States into separate zones. To treat your States as one shipping zone please click here."

Hi, on the screen where you see this...

quote:
"Your admin settings are set to split your States into separate zones. To treat your States as one shipping zone please click here."

You should be listing each state on the right side of the screen. That's where you break them out.

Ok, so it looks like you are all set. When you click on edit rules, there you can set your shipping costs.

David, the problem is, I can't seem to be able to split or use my State Postal Zones (in this case, USA-ex-Hawaii, and Hawaii) for World Zone USA (pls see screenshot from first post). It doesn't allow me to edit Postal Zones for USA (like I am able to for Canada). Where did I go wrong, I can't figure it out.

You just go to the list of states (in your first post) and edit that state and assign the postal zone to that state.

Ideally yes, but the option is not available for me. The options to edit each FSA, shipping rates per state is not given.

I'm not sure why that is, but I see some of the states are blank in this image?
Have you fixed that to see if it fixes things?

The spaces should be irrelevant. They are states I used previously but deleted.

I think I found my answer (finally!). The template comes default with states for USA, one and only. There is a plug-in to convert those states into another country and their associated provinces / states. It seems only 1 country can be split up into states. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Mapspots
Can you try this parameter in your includes.php file which I think might help here...

usandcasplitzones=TRUE
