After the update to 7.62 the site has been experiencing speed issues. Some times so slow the page doesn't load at all.

Ive been back and forth with the host and they are saying its a PHP issue. "it seems to be some kind of php-fpm/coding issue. Please check script and re upload it"

Please help me out?

Hi Steven, what version of .php is the site running on?
I expect it's not really an issue with the cart code with no others reporting the issue, but it's certainly possible. It's important to remember many hosts will point to the site coding without even checking things.
Post back your php version, and let us know if you are on "shared" hosting, as some hosts will stuff as many users on a server as possible and if just one of the sites on that server is under attack, it can easily impact all sites on that server.

Thanks Dave, Im on a vps and was using 8.1, I switched to 8.2 and it seems better.

That sounds good, and being on a vps is certainly better than shared hosting.

Thanks, Dave. I've run https://gtmetrix.com/ before. But I have no idea how to fix most of the recommendations. I have a tech person that helps me, Ill ask him and take it from there.
