I would like to develop an ASP page that allows us to have a customized layout for potential customers to add or delete their emails on our list.

I tried to find help on this but only came across your pages. i.e.
https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/mailinglist.asp
and
https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/mailinglistrm.asp

Can anyone advise how we should best go about this?

Thanks, Peter

Hi Peter, this should be pretty easy.
Just open one of your pages in your html editor and give it a name of your choice, then insert the mini mail list signup and style it however you choose.
NOTE - The info there is a bit outdated as the mini tools are now part of the cart and do not need to be purchased separate.

https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/minicss.asp#minimailing

For the most part, you just drop these two lines where you want the signup to appear
<?php $minicssaction="minisignup"?>
<?php include "vsadmin/inc/incminicss.php" ?>

Post back if you have questions.

Thanks,
David

Thanks for the reply Dave.

Yes we have the minimailing on our website now however this does not allow for a customer to delete (or notify removal) from the list.

We will attempt using the plugin for a dedicated page.

I was thinking it may require java script to a database.

Ideally, it may be desirable to link the pages to the ecommercetemplates current mailing list.

What are your thoughts on that?

Regards, Peter

Hi, sorry if I misunderstood.
I was under the impression you wanted a page like this - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/mailinglist.asp
I guess I missed the part where you asked about deleting from the mail list.

You might be trying to reinvent the wheel here as the client account page has all of the things you are asking for.
Customers can sign up for the list, and remove themselves.
Have you enabled client login and setup that page?

I'm sure it's possible to code with the ability to remove themselves from the mailing list, from a custom page, but it would need to be custom coded I believe.
In the end, customers should be getting an unsubscribe link in your emails and to me, that makes the most sense.
I sure wouldn't want to encourage them to unsubscribe by making it too easy LOL.

Thanks,
David
