The order notifications that we usually receive stopped abruptly on 1st Feb. I suspect some kind of change on the server though the hosts say that's not the case. Is there any common occurrence that may have caused this?

I'm using version 6.6.5 PHP. The server is running PHP 5.6. All was working fine until 1st Feb. I am not sure if customers are receiving the email notification but no complaints yet. We are now only receiving the email from the payment provider

For reference... PHP 5.6 is WAY outdated.

Minimum now is in the 8.1 range.

Mine is currently running 8.3.2

ECT v6.6.5 is WAY outdated also.

I'm no expert on this but I think these two things are your issue.

I highly recommend updating both as I'm sure there are security fixes in both.

Hi Martin

As Patrick has previously stated your versions are well outdated.

ECT version 6.6.5 is from May 2017, so basically it's ancient. All the latest versions of the ECT software are PHP v 8.x compatible but you need to check & update a couple of things as highlighted in the following thread.

Also do bear in mind that any third party add-ons/mods installed may almost certainly require updating too, so don't just jump in & update.
Check if those add-ons/mods are currently still supported.

PHP 5.6.40 was end of life in Dec 2018. You can see the support & security lifespan from the official PHP site

Thanks for the responses. My web host has found a "workaround" for now & i am still not sure what that is, but it's working for now. I am also making moves to update everything
