Following the Wordpress cross sales instructions, it's not quite clear to me which code to put in the details page. (I understand the dynamic home page is different. I'll tackle that later.)

So do I just enter this code under the details?
[ect_proddetail]
[ect_crosssell]

Or do I enter this code: [ect_crosssell crosssellaction="related" csbestsellerstitle="Similar Tutorials" csproductpagelayout="productimage,productid,productname"]

And do I have to add 'related' to the detail page layout in includes?

I had a look and that should all work ok. Did you add this parameter to the includes.php file?
