I see "Static Page URL (Optional)" on the attributes page. How does that work? I can't seem to locate details on that. What would be the URL be? Thanks!

Hi Atlend
There is more about Static URLs here...
https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/seo/static-url-php.asp

But this is really about creating a static page like this...

yoursite.com/Your_Product_Name

...instead of the automatically generated page like this...

yoursite.com/proddetail.php?prod=yourproduct

But an even better system would be SEO URLs which would do the same kind of thing automatically for the whole store without creating static pages and there are more details here...

we currently use SEO Urls, so I think that I understand most of that

I am on a product attribute page and these are the options:
Name: Large
Working name: size-large
Preview Image:
Attribute Logo:
Description:
Static Page URL (Optional):
Attribute Header:
Notes:

Currently doing something like this where this URL takes me to the attributes: www.domain.com/products/?scri=3

The static URL doesn't seem to do anything. Also other fields like attribute logo, description, attribute header don't seem to work in the same way that you would expect like they work on the categories for example.

The Static URL will change the URL that would be generated from the products to the product detail page for that product. But that link would be doing a search for all products with the given product attribute.
