ASP v7.7.6

While trying to create a text input option, keep getting this error:

Unclosed quotation mark after the character string ',0)'.

/inc/incfunctions.asp, line 2025

I was not able to locate a line that even looked like that so I was not able to remedy the problem.

Vince, this is the same site you recently looked at that needed the ajaxservice.asp file so you have the FTP information. Let me know if you need the admin login.

Thanks.

Hi Marshall
The product options script seems to be full of modifications and this doesn't seem to be an issue with the unmodified version. Are you able to debug this yourself?

I will take a look at it. I suspected that may have caused the problem. I will keep you posted. Thanks.

Hi Marshall, based on this
quote:
Unclosed quotation mark after the character string ',0)'.

/inc/incfunctions.asp, line 2025

I'm betting you are sending a string to a function where the quote is not escaped, or needed to be converted to & q u o t ; (without the spaces) using a replace function before the string gets sent off to the function.
Seen this myself before.
I hope that helps.

David

Thanks David. So far, I have not been able to find the error in the modified incprodopts.asp script, but oddly enough I discovered the option is actually being created, it is just not taking you to the page after it is done.
