We occasionally add abusive buyers to the IP Blocking list in our Cart.

Does a log exist to show the day and time that an IP address was blocked using this feature?

Since most residential IP addresses aren't static, we'd like to trim our block list to include only those addresses with fairly recent purchase attempts.

It would also be great to have a place for a note on why we blocked them.

Dave, we've been keeping an Excel spreadsheet with the blocked IP, date blocked, order number, customer name, and our comments.

Some of those comments - including records of profane things said by some buyers - might be better kept on an internal spreadsheet. :-(

Our database is loaded with foul language.
We sell fantasy football trophies and nothing beats those guys when it comes to foul language...

Some of our buyers have sewage backing up into the house.

Most are plumbers who spend all day talking to people who have sewage backing up into the house.

I'd take our buyers over fantasy football fanatics any day. :-)

ETA: last month we had a buyer who was so intoxicated that he interrupted my question and said, "man, are you REAL or are you AI?"

I'd never heard that before.
