Hi all, I have been an ECT user for over 10 years but not used the gift certificates feature before. So, i have it all set up and it seems to be working fine for me, apart from one annoying thing. I send text format emails from the store and all is good apart from the %value% variable in the gift certificate recipient email, it is displaying like this example... "html special character" instead of the £ sign, then the order value 10.00 next to it. I have tried all the usual character encoding changes and i'm having no luck with changing the html character to dispaly a £ sign. I realise that's a html special character ref and i'm using text emails, so.. I would prefer to stay with text format emails but would be happy to have the format GBP 10:00 in the email, can anyone give me a clue how i can get this result, i asume it would be a code edit somewhere... please?
