The v4.9.7 updater is now available for ASP.
The following changes have been made...

The v4.9.3 and above updater versions had changes for PayPal so that the PayPal site would show the actual shipping charges rather than showing them as zero. However it seems that in some circumstances PayPal will ignore the shipping charge (even though by default it should not do so).
To get around this, firstly go to this URL when logged in to your paypal account . . .
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_profile-shipping

Then make sure the following setting is checked . . .
Click here to allow transaction-based shipping values to override the profile shipping settings listed above (if profile settings are enabled).

After doing this you will have to set the following parameter to your vsadmin/includes.asp file if you require shipping / goods totals to be sent separately for PayPal payments . . .
splitpaypalshipping=TRUE

Shipping insurance is now added to the shipping estimator where addshippinginsurance is 1 or -1 (ie mandatory).
