This release contains 2 important security fixes and is recommended for all using the v6.2 release. This security fix has been incorporated into the v6.1 updater for those still using that version. Details are not given below of the fixes but are available on request.

Silent CAPTCHA has been added to the mailing list signup page to prevent SPAM mailinglist signups. Because of this, when you update be sure to update the incminicss.asp script as well as the inccart.asp script. (If you have purchased the incminicss.asp script this should be sent to you automatically with the updater.)

When a product name or id has been removed customers arriving from a link in Google will receive a message stating that the product does not exist and this is correct. However now the page also deliveres an HTML 404 "Not Found" status so that the search engines know to remove the link from the index.

A problem has been corrected on the mailinglist admin page which could mean some mal-formed email addresses could not be deleted.

An error has been corrected in the categories admin page when sorting categories by products and stock assigned.

Some changes took place at the end of March for the Canadian tax system and this update addresses those changes.

The admin mailing list page didn't properly follow the sort order set and this has now been corrected. This only affected the PHP version.

The dynamically generated menu was producing incorrect results when using the menupoplimit parameter and this has now been corrected.

An error has been corrected when using discounts and a mySQL database.

Support has been added for the homestatetaxrate parameter to set the tax rate for your home state when customer collecting using the "Will Pickup" option. Normally this step is not necessary apart from for Canadian stores where the highest available state tax rate would normally be chosen.
