I'd hired someone to tweak my accordian menu and he'd changed incmenu.asp, style.css, and added a js folder with the file "main.js", and I thought I'd captured the changes. After applying 6.9.3 to my test site, the accordian menu is completely hosed...it's not even back to it's original appearance; now it's just a dynamic list of plain links. I have since applied the updater with no changes and I still have a plain list of links. Can you please help me with what's changed that might have caused this?

My test site has 6.9.3 applied to it https://test.equineaddicts.com

My live site still has 6.9.2 and shows the changed accordian menu https://www.equineaddicts.com

Thanks!
Jan

Hi Jan

Can you make sure you have linked the ectcart.js file https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=110209

I've run into problems with my popout menu since the update. When navigating to some of the lower level menu items, all the popouts disappear.

Try Legal Index Dividers -> 9000 Series -> Numbers Only -> Side Tabs -> Individual Tabs. Popouts disappear when you hover over the last item.

ectcart.js has been linked to.

Hi Larry

This is the site in your forum profile, correct? The links at the end do appear but it seems quite sensitive so will take a further look

Andy, I messed things up further and I was unable to get the site straightened out so I've restored and will start again. I wanted to let you know in case you looked at my test site and couldn't figure out what I was talking about. Thanks for your help.

OK, thanks Jan - when I looked yesterday I think the ectcart.js file was missing.

Larry, I've been looking at your menu

You have to be quick for

Legal Index Dividers -> 9000 Series -> Numbers Only -> Side Tabs -> Individual Tabs

but

Legal Index Dividers -> 8000 Series -> Numbers Only -> Letter Size Side Tabs -> Individual Tabs

is fine. I assume there's no difference in the way the category "Individual Tabs" is set up in each case?

Can you send me on your includes.asp file so I can check any relevant settings there?

Both categories are set up the same, includes.asp emailed.

Andy, this remains a problem for me. I do see the javascript line in the source for the page but I'm only getting a list of links for my menu. I did have some custom javascript work done to the menu and his script references are at the bottom of the pages, but I have not changed incmenu.asp yet.

Thanks,
Jan

Hi Jan

I missed the hassubmenu class when checking the new menu and there's a fix coming out for that today - apologies for the problem but I'll let you know as soon as it's available.

Hi Andy,

Has this been corrected? I just checked the hotfix forum and the only incmenu fix listed is for php.

Thanks,
Jan

Yes it has. I sent you a mail via the forum but all you need to do is download the updater and upload incmenu.asp

There's also a small change in the css so add this

ul.ectmenu1 li {
border-bottom: 1px solid #dedede;
margin: 4px;
margin-bottom: 15px;
}

ul.ectmenu1 li a {
padding: 5px 5px 5px 18px;
display: block;
text-decoration: none;
color: #666;
}
