Top Section Deleted

Category admin page all sub-categories are assigned to a top category. Could it be an Additional Sections issue?

You could try removing the additional section and see if the product displays properly in its main category. Posted - 05/09/2017 : 10:30:05 Quick FYI for others having this problem, which I did - I made all the category changes correctly in Admin control panel, but neglected to change products.asp to categories.asp in my html. Once I did that, the Top Section Deleted message went away.

I converted my vertical dynamic menu to horizontal. I placed all categories under "Products" except for a few. I wanted a few categories to appear as Home categories so they would line up beside "Products" on my top bar. This is how I ended up with Top Section Deleted on these few categories. I don't mind having the Top Section Deleted message. However I'm wondering if it will have any negative effect (indexing issues, etc)?

1234 Ecommerce Template Expert USA 974 Posts	Posted - 04/06/2018 : 04:54:25 I have a few main categories that hold my most popular products. I wanted these categories to be along the top bar of my site and each one produce a drop down of sub-categories so they would stand out. I guess the best way to explain it is to have a look - https://www.usafleetsupply.com. The most important categories are along the top and the remaining are under "All Products". This is a much older ECT version and did not offer the horizontal menu. If there is a better way of getting these same menu results, please let me know.

Posted - 03/03/2020 : 00:18:01 Hi, I'm having the same problem, https://www.irishplantsdirect.ie/products.asp?cat=All+FLOWER+SEEDS however in the admin panel the products are a sub category of Home Category. I can't see this category though when I try to assign them to a different one it makes no difference it just makes the path longer. Also Categories.asp https://www.irishplantsdirect.ie/categories.asp is now blank? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks C.SAXTON
