Over the weekend I noticed a larger than usual percentage of unauthorized orders. Can you help me figure out what this could be. Appears to have started around the month change and wondering if something had changed with payment providers. I use Auth.net and PayPal

Got two emails subject:
Ppconfirm.php debug

Body begins with..:
SANDBOX:
Ecommerce Plus PayPal IPN Error: Error with cURL installation: Could not resolve: ipnpb.paypal.com (Could not contact DNS servers)

Plus I got an email from a customer screenshots IG database connection errors. It doesn't make too much sense because other customers are then able to complete orders. Nothing has changed in the database/website. The customer did send screens so I know it's real, just don't understand what could be the possible causes and if it's related to the unauthorized orders issue.

Thanks!

Hi Chris

When PayPal report any problems we get notification via email and with authorize.net via twitter. I didn't see any reports from either over the weekend and nobody has reported problems on the forum. That leads me to believe it could have been down to a server glitch or maybe a local router down causing the connection problems. Can you let us know if there are still problems today?

Andy
