Is there a way to offer a Free Standard Shipping discount that is specific to a product or a couple products? The Scope is grayed out when using the Free Standard Shipping effect.

I am NOT looking for the solution that involves making a free shipping discount and then marking all of my other products as Free shipping Exempt. That method does not work for the setup I am using.

If there is not a way to accomplish this, I would suggest making this a feature in the future as I think may others would find it useful.

Ok, then how can I make one product with Free Shipping when $500 or more (of that one item) but make the rest of the products Free Shipping with $900 or more?

All the other products that would be included in the $900 or more are exempt from Free Shipping from the restriction set on the one item that had a discount for $500 or more.

Another suggestion is to have two different product weights in the product admin
1) The initial weight if a customer is purchasing one of the item
2) The weight for additional units of the same item

The initialpackweight parameter is not useful for my application (unless I misunderstand how to use it). Some of our package weights are a 1oz letter, and some are 4lbs of cardboard.

Also, the ability to restrict certain products from certain shipping services and also from certain countries would be a great feature. All too often we have customers purchase a product which is hazardous and use a shipping service that cannot be used for that product.

I am willing to pay for these features. This lack of customization in the admin has been a thorn in my side for the 10+ years I've been using ECT.
