I use stripe and PayPal on our on-line store and use square in public for the mobile locations, at tax time I am having to pull multiple reports from multiple locations. Do you have any plans on adding square to the credit card processing list anytime soon?

I will do that but currently it is not on the drawing board? The reason I ask I will have to change from stripe as they do not offer reports for sales tax and sugest I go through all orders. That's not going to happen.

Get rid of Stripe and add Paypal payments pro (paypal direct)
Get rid of square, and get the paypal here reader.

All funds go into paypal and you get one report.

Get the paypal debit card and pay with that when you can and get cash back.

Our cash back is over $1,000.00 per month from Paypal.

Dave sounds good only one issue could not find a tax report on the paypal side plus a lot of people do not like paypal

Are you asking about 1099-K reports?

We never ever hear that from customers. Also, how would they know you are using paypal for merchant processing on your website?

IMHO, Sales tax reporting should be done with accounting software really.

Dave where we live you have to report every city and amount so that is done via report at processing level. when a customer buys online they get transferred to PayPal for payment currently and at shows they setup is paypal screen.

Paradise no I am talking about sales tax for quarterly reporting. I can pull full reports from square broken down by city so each city gets their right amount

If you use PayPal Pro the customer stays on your site and there is no sign of PayPal anywhere.

PayPal Here isn't available to me in Canada. Square is, so I'd like to see it supported. I've already posted a suggestion.

Furthermore, I've had a lot of issues with PayPal not completing sales on my site, but none with Stripe. Don't know why.

Paypal is available in Canada, so is paypal pro and all paypal services. We also have taxes due to each city/county and we do our accounting accordingly. Just so other readers are not misinformed, Payal IS available in full, all services...in Canada.

IMHO, I don't think it fair to expect your payment processor to handle your tax reporting.
How do you generate a balance sheet, or profit and loss statement for your business?

Yes, I know that PayPal is available; I use PayPal Advanced on my site. Sorry if I gave that impression.

But the POS hardware, "PayPal Here" is not available in Canada, as far as I know. Please let me know if I'm wrong

Accounting for the sales is done via our quickbooks accounting software... all purchases are recorded and entered in accordingly.. reporting done on government website online

This is old information from 2012...

I also found out that paypalhere was limited to a smaller group of businesses... which means we are both correct. It is available and NOT available in Canada... causing the confusion. I will need to go with what is physically happening to you while you try to buy it, versus what is written :)

Yes, I ended up calling.

The agent told me that they did a pilot program in Canada with about 300 customers, but it "never took off".

The participants in the pilot were able to continue with PayPal here, but it's not being offered now.

That sucks! I wonder if you could submit a special request ?
