Just updated from 6.6.1 to 6.7.2 and there was some changes to the soft cart. It's now popping up for mobile, where as it did not before.

In both the parameters page and the shopping cart help page, they say that the hard cart is used by default for mobile devices where the pop up soft cart wouldn't really be viable.

On my mobile devices, the soft cart is now appearing and I do not wish that it would appear, yet still prefer the soft cart on the non-mobile view.

How can I get this functioning as before where the desktop version is soft cart and the mobile version is hard cart?

Hi

That used to be turned off by default but now it is displayed as the css has been tweaked so it should show nicely. There isn't a feature to toggle between soft cart / hard cart depending on the device I'm afraid.

Ok. Suggestions

1) Allow for this customization to be possible. By default it used to have this behavior, so it should possible. The soft cart does not do well with older versions of iOS on older devices.

2) Note these types of changes in the patch notes to be clearer. The only note I had seen in regards to this was "There have also been some improvements for the mobile layout that will improve the mobile experience for the Soft Cart" in 6.6.4. To me, that didn't translate to "Hard cart is no longer available for mobile if the soft cart parameter is being used". Furthermore, all the help files were still citing that hard cart was default for mobile (though I believe that verbiage was removed today).
