There was an attempt of someone making a purchase on my store. It was unauthorized and so I checked to see what happened and saw this message in the 'Private Order Status' box in my admin - shipping details:

(5) Invalid merchant information: 10548-This transaction cannot be processed. The merchant's account is not able to process transactions.

Can anyone explain what this means? Is there an issue with my store processing transactions?

Thanks,

Marcia Henry

Hi Marcia

Have a look at the error code explanation from PayPal and see if that helps

Thanks Andy. I pay a monthly processing fee to Paypal and never encountered this issue. I will follow up with PayPal.

Had a conversation with PayPal and apparently there were numerous credit card attempts on my store in a short space of time so PayPal disabled my account until I add some security to my site. So, now I'm adding CAPTCHA as one that was suggested.

I got the Site Key and Secret key and added those to my admin section and checked the boxes. The google documentation also says to add the .js before the closing head tag...all good. It also provided another snippet to add at the end of the form where I want the CAPTCHA to appear.

Question - What form is this referring to? I'm not sure where or what form I need to add this snippet? <div class="g-recaptcha" data-sitekey="#######"></div>
Can someone please clarify.

Thanks,

Marcia Henry

Hi Marcia, the code for google CAPTCHA is already built-in to the scripts you do not need to do anything other than add the keys to the admin > main settings.

I copied and pasted the key from Google and in testing, I get an error message: ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key

How can I fix this?
