I am not good at using forums.
we have E Commerce 6.7.1 version and have for 7 years. Two things nag us . we have 2500 sku parts and we need some way to put our cost in the part or sku area when we add a new listing.
Next: most important: is there ANY way for us to go directly to PayPal while developing an order in the back office ? We do a lot of custom orders, and it is so awkward to have to go out and log into PayPal to receive payment, and re enter all the customer info again

Hi Mike

What problem are you having adding information to the SKU field? It's a field that displays optionally on the front end so I'm not sure I follow there.

Why do you need to enter any information into the PayPal backend - sorry but I'm not sure of the set up there either.

Hi Mike, you could add the cost to the end of the sku 123456-55.7 or the end of the product id pid0072-0995.

We decided to use the wholesale box to put our "Cost" in since the customer doesn't see it . I Believe we are expecting too much from this software, we really need it to be a point of sale software more that it is . We talked to a Fellow at Cart Span about doing a third party integration which according to him makes it able to go into PayPal from the back office, but he wasn't very friendly, and sort of didn't go into enough explanation for us to feel comfortable. It is so awkward for us to do 10-15 sales a day by going in the back office, then back out to get the money from pay pal, then re typing in all the customer info again into pay pal if they are a new customer.
