Hello. I am trying to update my site to a responsive design. Currently the site does not have a dwt file for me to overwrite with the new design. How do I make the change?

Hi Becky

You wouldn't want to use a dwt from one design to update the design on another store. What exactly do you need to do there?

IT WAS ORIGINALLY THE LIFESTYLE TEMPLATE I GOT BUT THE DEVELOPER MADE A LOT OF CHANGES. I DON'T KNOW HOW THE ORIGINAL TEMPLATE IS NOT THERE. WE ARE TRYING TO UPDATE IT TO A RESPONSIVE SITE.

Hi Becky, when you say update it to responsive are you working with a new responsive design or trying to change a old design to be responsive. We have information here on switching to responsive design https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=101728

In that case download the store files from the /zzz/ folder and then upload them to where your live site is. Make a back up of the live site before doing anything else.
